The program has been offered in Hawaii for several years.
“In light of the recent comments we’ve received, it’s our honor and privilege to remind Hawaii families we want to give them every advantage we can,” said eknowledge.com spokesman Michael McCracken.
“Simply put, the project’s goal is to increase the opportunity for Hawaii students and families to reach their educational goals, through the donation of SAT and ACT Prep software. eKnowledge and 100-plus organizations and professional athletes are donating $200 and $250 SAT and ACT PowerPrep Programs to Hawaii students and families throughout the 2013-2014 school year.
“The SAT and ACT PowerPrep programs include more than 11 hours of video instruction, 3,000 files of supplemental test preparation material, sample questions and practice tests. Students select the training and study at their own pace,” he explained.

“The project waives the entire $200 retail cost; there is a fee of $17.55 per program to cover all student support, materials, streaming and shipping. Neither eKnowledge nor any of the partners profit from this donation program in any way and all proceeds are used to cover the costs of running the project and improving the program and extending the reach to more families,” said McCracken.
“I love challenges and the mental and physical exertion demanded to compete in sport and life in general. I chose to attend West Point so I could defend freedom and unalienable rights. My experiences have taught me that a good education is critically important to success in every aspect of life and that’s why I’m passionate about supporting the eKnowledge program that provides SAT and ACT prep to military families around the world,” said Caleb Campbell of the Kansas City Chiefs.
“(The project) is totally and completely awesome beyond belief. We are usually forgotten out here in the Pacific and our keiki will truly benefit from this. Mahalo nui loa,” Rebecca Keliihoomalu wrote to the program sponsors.
